A Dictionary for Computer Languages?

Yes! ABAP 2 Java is intended to be a dictionary for the programming languages ABAP and Java. You may ask what do I need a dictionary for? If I want to learn a new programming language, I only need to know what the instruction end sign is and how to insert comments.

However, we feel that programming languages are similar to spoken languages.

The first differences you notice when hearing a foreign language are the words. You simply cannot associate any meaning to the sound, nor can you tell when a word actually begins or ends. By learning a language you are able to recognize and distinguish between words and reach your own understanding of their meanings. Sometimes a word even won’t have a corresponding translation in your language. This is the time when you will recognize that the grammar is different from what you are used to.
